In today's world, most of us can't seem to live without our smartphone. In reality, it's the apps on that phone that we can't live without. So I decided to list out some of the apps on MY phone that make my life a whole lot easier. I'll leave out our basic social media apps because let's get real, we all use Instagram. From apps that assist my social media content to my day to day tasks, here they are:
1. Reports
I use Reports to manage my followers on Instagram for both my personal and work accounts. This app also allows more in depth insights to my posts and what gets the most attention. It's allowed me to keep track of those classic "follow to unfollow" accounts and who is stalking my profile. PLUS, know you happens to block you! Download here.
2. Citizen
Ever wonder why all of a sudden 3 cop cars go flying down the street? Well Citizen keeps citizens of any area up to date on police calls happening either near you or within your entire city. Each report has a timeline of updates such as "Police have arrived", "Suspect in custody", etc to ensure that you either avoid the area or just know the general happenings going on. Download here.
3. Lightroom
I still LOVE VSCO for editing but I definitely prefer the mobile Lightroom app for on the go edits that require more tweaking in lighting and coloring such as working the highlights and shadows. There's a lot more freedom to edit plus you can create or upload presets that match your style! Download here.
4. Later
I technically use this only for work purposes BUT I would definitely use it for my personal account if I actually posted more. It's a social media scheduling tool that gives analytics for Instagram, allows story scheduling and even manage conversations on your IG page. There is a free plan which is really is the only thing that most people need and the first level of the paid plan is $19 but that is really only beneficial for businesses. Download here.
5. StoryArt
Wonder how your favorite content creators are constantly putting out beautiful looking Instagram stories? They use apps like StoryArt that provides colorful, illustrated frames with numerous themes to choose from to match any mood or occasion. Add text, change fonts, change theme colors on most templates and upload straight to Instagram! Download here.
6. Unfold
Unfold follows the same concept as StoryArt with some differences. It offers more simple frames such as film style. It allows for some more customization once you actually upload it to Instagram. And, you can plan out an entire story and upload it all at once. Download here.
